News Fetching and Serving Program

I have written a simple NNTP server that can be used with dial-up accounts to fetch news and to serve it to a newsreader.

It is written in Perl and I call it PNews (although there is another program of that name). I have been using it since I started with Demon and it works well with Demon's server and I see no reason why it should not work well with others also.

It is available here, as a gzipped tar file that contains instructions. I don't support this program in the same way that I do my other programs since I consider it a hack and there are plenty of other news servers and news fetching programs.
